What does “immobiliser bypass” mean for my Ford?
It means we disable the immobiliser/authorisation check inside the ECU so the replacement or repaired ECU will start the vehicle without needing the original key coding. The vehicle’s engine management functions are not altered — only the start authorisation check is removed.

Do I need to send any additional modules?
Sometimes the vehicle uses an immobiliser module (VIM) or gateway; for some ECU types we may need that module too. We will advise after you send VIN/ECU details.
Will the ECU remain otherwise functional?
Yes — the bypass is carried out to retain engine control functionality. We bench test the unit and include a service note. Any other ECU faults will be reported before we proceed.
Is immobiliser bypass legal?
We only perform bypasses for legitimate owners or authorised agents. You must own the vehicle or have written permission from the owner. We will refuse service if legality/ownership cannot be confirmed.
Can you do this while I wait?
In many cases yes — we offer a while-you-wait service in Sleaford by appointment. Otherwise postal service is fast and secure.
What if my ECU cannot be bypassed?
If disabling the immobiliser is technically impossible for your unit, we will refund you in full and return the ECU.
